What is Art? That’s the eternal question design students are faced with every year.
So what is art? The ultimate answer is-Art is an opinion. For You, art is exclusively what you decide it to be. Your idea of art may be different than someone else’s idea is.
Art is everywhere, and whether they want to admit it or not, everyone needs it.
Whether it’s a painting on a wall, the shape of a chair, or the handle of a spoon; color, form, and design all come into play. Some designer somewhere has played a part in making it happen.
Life should be beautiful. Just be aware that someone else’s idea of art might not match yours. If a condescending attitude toward your idea of art is encountered, don’t let it discourage you. Enjoy beauty where you find it.
